All types of digital x-rays are available around the clock. Two mobile x-ray units are available for ICU/CCU and other nonambulatory patients. Ultrasound is performed daily by competently qualified consultants, in the morning & evening. CT Scan: All the routine scans including head, chest, HRCT, Abdomen, Pelvis, Orbits, PNS, Neck, CT myelogram, etc are performed round the clock on the latest version of the Spiral CT unit.

It is a newly built 6-bed unit with facilities for bedside monitoring (both non-invasive and invasive). The bedside monitors are linked to a central monitor for prompt arrhythmia detection and its treatment.

The chest pain patients presenting to CPC would get a fast and efficient diagnosis and management in the C.P.C (fast-tracking) before admission to the CCU.

Cardiac ICU came into being in the fall of 2021 as part of the RYK Hospital policy of providing state-of-the-art care to cardiac patients. It is a totally brand new center which is built on the 1st floor of the main building of the RYK Hospital. It aims to provide fully integrated clinical and interventional cardiology services under one roof with an economy of movement for the patients.

The Department of Anesthesia is fully equipped with the most modern machinery to minimize the pain and suffering of patients during the course of an operation. In-house consultants and senior surgeons carry out a variety of surgical procedures including Laparoscopic & General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Spinal and Chest surgery, Open heart surgery, etc. with the expertise of skilled anesthetists.

The emergency department, the only private facility in the town, is available round the clock. It is supervised by consultants/senior registrars of medical and surgical teams. It handles more than 40 patients per day or around 1200 patients per month. The pediatric emergency service is also provided separately.

The proper dental care facility is available for morning & evening shifts. The Dental department. is functioning under the supervision of highly qualified dental surgeons. This unit is properly equipped for all 'Dental Surgical Procedures

The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is one of the main departments of the hospital. The annual turnover is around 2000 deliveries, 2500 gynecological operations, and 14000 to 15000 outpatients. The department provides round-the-clock maternity services with CTG and an Epidural facility for painless labor and emergency surgery.

The Hematology / Oncology department provides services to all patients suffering from any kind of blood disease including blood cancers (Leukemia/Lymphoma/Myeloma), anemia, thrombocytopenia, bleeding, and coagulation disorders. We have a team of qualified/experienced clinical Oncologists, pharmacists, and chemotherapy-trained nurses for the safe delivery of chemotherapy.

The Department of medicine forms the core of hospital clinical services and shares a major workload. Total bed strength inwards/rooms are approximately around 75. Advanced 21 beds fully equipped, functional Medical ICU/CCU & four beds H.D.U (High Dependency Unit) is managed by the efficient staff. Medical ICU /CCU has facilities like multipurpose invasive & non-invasive cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, functional ventilators, percussive nebulizers, defibrillators, placement of CVP line, and full CPR facilities.

Various GI procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic upper GIT Endoscopy, Sclerotherapy and Banding, Esophageal Dilatation, Endocrine studies, Diagnostic and therapeutic Colonoscopy, and liver biopsies are also performed.

Supervised by a highly experienced Consultant Nephrologist. Bicarbonate Hemodialysis service with the latest advanced computerized machines has been established for timely dialysis of kidney patients who are in serious condition. An expert Nephrologist and his staff ensure that Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, CAPD, and Ultrafiltration are carried out effectively. Eight beds with new machines and fully trained staff are available for dialysis at a time. It functions round the clock.

The Unit of Traumatology and Orthopedics is a fully equipped unit. The orthopedic unit has a very busy outpatient department where over two hundred patients are seen and treated every month. Operation theaters are equally busy where more than fifty patients are operated on every month. The operation theater is fully equipped with two C-Arm image intensifiers, a fracture table, arthroscopy instrumentation along with different types of locking nail equipment. RYK hospital is the pioneer in arthroscopic surgery in Rahim Yar Khan, where knee and shoulder arthroscopies were started. At present, we are doing 50-60 arthroscopies of the major joints per year.

The department of Ophthalmology has the facility to cater to all diseases related to the eye. Senior consultants carry out the most difficult operative procedures, like Vitrectomy, with the most modern machinery available e.g. Argon laser, Yag laser, Fundus Camera, Surgical Operating Microscope, etc. Ocular CT is also available.

The Pediatrics Surgical department provides surgical support to the department of Pediatrics & Neonatology. It is well-equipped to deal with Pediatrics & Neonatal surgery. This department is covering all aspects of Pediatric surgical subspecialties including; Pediatric General Surgery, Pediatric Hepato-biliary, Pediatric Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Urology, Pediatric Orthopedics & Pediatric Neuro-surgery.

The Laboratory provides diagnostic services 24 hours a day and 7 days a week in the area of Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Histopathology, and transfusion services. Our blood collection area is equipped with the highest quality sterile equipment and conditions. All needles are destroyed immediately after being used.
